From CBC News Online‘s “Nova Scotia Bureau”‘s twitter feed comes this tweet, “Halifax Chronicle-Herald newsroom waits for axe”.

Interestingly, it is the first tweet by CBC-NS.  I’m sure some one more eloquent than me could turn a phrase or two about the fact that an online news source that is an offshoot of a traditional news medium has now turned to twitter to publicize its newsfeeds, and that its very first tweet reports on the pending drastic budget cutbacks at another traditional news medium.
