rough notes

with one comment

often, people will ask me what I have to say about something. that something might be the weather, the local sports team, politics, the price of dairy, or just general goings-on.

normally, it appears that i have little to say. appearances suggest i have little to say because i don’t say much in return.

i don’t say much in return because i’m holding back from telling people what i am really thinking.

what i’d really like to say in return is often a blistering ray of sunshine or a riddle of dark colours wrapped in a bow of sweet springtime smells.

i’m not special and i’m not different. some might say i’m eccentric, but i’m just willing to see things differently. we have five senses which we can use to perceive the world, and i refuse to limit my options.

this isn’t meant to be poetry. it’s just a simple statement of fact.
